Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

Diane, the Collinsville Township Senior Center on East Main Street has excellent lunch meals, 11am to 12:30pm, $5 donation. Currently carry out because of Covid. Just drive up to the back door, tell them how many meals you want and give them some money. Sign a form on a clipboard. They do have a monthly rate of either $25 or $35 per person. Beat going out shopping or getting in crowds. Pretty much a balanced meal. They are usually closed whenever Unit 10 schools are closed. I highly recommend the meals. When the center is open again, you will recognize some of the patrons. Mike Fischer and his wife Dee Dee. Jim Achenbach is helping sometimes. He is the current Township Clerk. Previous Clerk Peggy? and former County Board Member (name slips me.)

I'm a little tired of everything being blamed on the Covid virus. I'm sure some of the price increases is due to that - but most of all I blame the current president and his policies.

A lot of industries created monopolies during the previous administration, causing higher prices. They did not fight or restrict any mergers that restricted trade. The result, higher prices due to no competition. He was pro business, let them make as much money as possible, and not pay taxes.
