Our planting beds in the backyard developed a infestation of Bermuda Grass this year. We've never had this before and it is darn vicious. It pretty much takes over with underground roots which spread like a web. Finding something which will kill it without killing other things is tricky. One Saturday we were listening to the Garden Hotline with Mike Miller on KMOX when someone called in and said getting a product with Fusilade would work well.
But. Finding this product is the hard part, stores selling herbicides don't have this generally. You can buy it online, but I was amazed at the cost of it, over 100 dollars. I'm not sure I want to spend that much money and am trying to find something else. This darn grass has been growing between everything in the back garden. Not in the normal lawn however. I believe it got its start in the straw I bought and used to cover the potato plants.
