Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

Christian makes these all the time. Although we usually get the blue bag chicken patties. He has even made his own knock-off Chik-fil-a sauce.

Aldi is a great place to shop. I especially like when they have "German" days and bring in specialty foods they don't carry year-round. Their quality on so many things is really great--so much better than they were 20 years ago. Their CFO for the US was on the board for CUC at one time.

Thanks for the information Kathy. I did go this morning and spent some time just looking around. Not many in there at that time.

Lizzie, I did get the red bag of chicken breasts. We'll try them tomorrow.

Two German brothers, own Trader Joes and Aldi. Split the Company in two. I think the brothers had a dispute over selling tobacco products. You can probably Google it and see if it is true.
I like the German Days, also. But we have a Ruler store (part of Kroger's) just North of Aldi, and they carry Kroger products which are great at great prices. Lately I only go to Aldis for the Oat bread.

Frank, interesting you mentioned Ruler because I've seen others mention going there but I've never been exactly sure where it is or what type of grocery it is.
