Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

I had a similar experience with the TSA lines. Lambert should generously be classified, as a 2cd rate airport. And this rating has nothing to do with sequestration. The airports in Denver and Portland were run very very well.

No it has nothing to do with sequestration. Did you know that some federal employees having hours sequestered are applying for and getting unemployment benefits? It negates the purpose of sequestration.

The problem is at Lambert, they just don't care about making airport experiences stress free, all they care about or the airlines there care about moving people and getting as much money as they can.

Look to see who is on the airport commission? When I was in Denver, the TSA were handing out time stamped cards as you entered the security line. When you go thru the check point, you hand the card to the agent and they time stamp it. They were tracking time to get thru the line. Again, St. Louis is a second rate airport at best.

    Diane:
Who told you that federal employees are getting unemployment benifits for the hours they are sequestered? Federal employees were told specifically that they are not elegible for any unemployment benifits. If their jobs were completely cut, then yes they would get benifits. But for those who are "only" losing 1 day a week, then they are just out. They are not able to claim benifits, and can not use vacation time either. They also can not choose which days to take off. It is on rotation. Also, they will not earn vacation time for these days not worked. They just loose upto 15% of their salary that they will never get back. No one is benifitting from this.
