Family reunion day 2. Or is it day 3?

Everyone went to Zion Lutheran Church in Bridgeville Pa, Dale preached, did the liturgy, celebrated communion, and led the bible class. Zion's regular pastor was on a servant event with the youth group.

After the service everyone went back to the hotel to change clothes for a day in Settlers Ridge State park where we had food, drink, games and talk.

Here are some of the happy reunion folks, the other half were still in the church, probably getting a donut.

Then it was on to the park where we had pierogies, some of us for the first time.

And fried chicken, none of us for the first time

Also 2 kinds of sausage, Keilbasa and spicy Italian type with peppers. Plus cole slaw and macaroni salad and hot dogs for kids.

Also lovely and yummy Italian cookies

Hey, there's a hand in the cookies. funny thing is, each time I tried to get a picture of the cookies, someone was reaching into them. Young and old.

I finally gave up, there was always a bodyless hand in the cookies. Just deal with it.

Here is our immediate family minus Christian and Connor.

Two dogs came and they caused such a stir from all the kids. You'd think they'd never seen a dog before. Even Drew got into the act.

There was another attempt to get a picture of the entire family, it was not easy to do, we are easily distracted. Finally a man who is not part of the family was given the job and managed to get us all in. I do not have that photo yet.

After a few hours some of us were getting tired and hot. Drew got to swing a bit.

We're back at the hotel now. Not Dale though, he's still chatting away in the park. All the little boys are in the pool and that is going to be it for today.
