Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

With condition of the state's finances this is no big surprise.
The current phase will be completed to Wickliffe. This project is great for Collinsville.
It would have been better to have an outer loop, but as I have state earlier, prior city council helped kill that idea by not supporting the outer loop project.
I will research it and send you the information on the council, Diane.

Ron, it looks like the work will end at Johnson just past Peter and Paul, not Wickliffe.

The city council supported a loop around town, but they were defeated by the Township (rural) interests and the people on East Country Lane did not want their road to be a super highway.

If Jay Hoffman was re-elected it would have been funded. Dwight Kay does not know we exist. Voted against the Race Track slots, the only salvation for Fairmont Park, and has no clue about Rt. 159.

IDOT says money will be available, so no need to be alarmed by the newspaper articles. it is time to remind Dwight Kay who he represents.

    Diane

Frank I agree with you about the Township interests. That is my memory. And, I remember a Journal Herald story about Jay Hoffmann being quoted as saying he could not support a loop. Which harks back to Township pressure again. The defeat of a loop had nothing to do with the city council. They were left holding the bag after Hoffmann pulled his support.

=If Jay Hoffman was re-elected it would have been funded. IDOT says money will be available, so no need to be alarmed by the newspaper articles.=
What does Hoffman have to do with funding, since IDOT says funding will be available?
Hoffman is one of the chief guys who got Illinois in this financial mess by supporting Blago and his crazy spending. Kay is trying to bring some fiscal sanity to the state.
