Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

We had our first day of school today! How timely...my students have practiced saying Yes, Ma'am and No, Ma'am. We'll practice the sir ones tomorrow when we speak with the principal and the 4th grade teacher. Since it was a 1/2 day, we'll deal with lunch manners tomorrow. One thing that I have seen more and more of are allergies...severe ones that are "life-threatening". Did we have such things back in the olden days? The only allergies I remember is Mike Harper in the 4th grade who had terrible sinus allergies. That's a different story!!! Rest assured, we'll continue to work on manners.
    Blessings!

Cindy, aren't you out there in the good manners capitol of the world?

SLC, Utah is known for family values thanks to the LDS community. (The culture and community has a distinct personality that's another story.) However, kids will be kids and will try to get by with whatever they can. So, the expectations are high on my part. Oh, and on a side note, I have Alyssa in my class this year! It should be interesting.
