Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

Very good pictures of the wild turkey in your yard. Turkeys are not infrequent visitors here in Minneapolis but are usually found in suburbs near the rural areas. With all of that wildlife you must live near a nature preserve.

Norman, the Concordia Seminary campus is near Forest Park, not a nature preserve really.

    Diane,
We have turkeys at Norwood Hills. We started with only a couple and now have about 20. The males are beautiful. I do not know what damage they do to vegitation (is this what happened to your tomato plants?). They are not as messy as geese. They can get mean though. I was chased off a tee box by a couple of males (turkeys - feathered ones).

Lola and Bogie will take care of this guy.

A 20 guage shotgun would be helpful in ridding you of this problem. Though I'm not sure your neighbors would appreciate this.
