Home is where the heart losses are. The White Sox have lost 5 in a row and are making their fans wonder just why they can't win at home. To make matters worse their latest losses come at the hands of the hated Twins, a team which always seems to come out on top at the end of the season. Maybe it's ok to lose right now rather than in the playoffs. But, if the playoffs give the Sox home field advantage there might be problems.
Meanwhile at the other end of the state, Cardinal fans are happy happy. Even with 4 of their regular starters out with injuries for the better part of the past month the Redbirds are rolling along having passed the White Sox as the team with the best record in baseball. 76-44 to the Sox's 74-44 Still hoping for a Sox-Cardinal World Series.
no need to panic...having Pods healthy and in the lineup does make a difference...trade for Griffey????
