What is with Missouri? They will hold their second primary election this coming Tuesday, August 3. Back in February, February 3 to be exact, they held a presidential primary. How many states have 2 primaries? How many states have a primary so late as this one will be? Seems like a huge waste of money. Not only will election judges have to be paid, but facilities rented, ballots created and printed. And the rest of us have to hear about this constantly on radio and tv. Just as bewildering is the huge number of candidates on the ballot for each state office.
