A friend sent this picture to my Facebook page yesterday telling me when she saw this she thought of me immediately.
It seems they're actually selling this and it isn't even October. Which leads me to another Triscuit story after the futile searches for the Original Triscuit I had earlier this year. So many varieties of this cracker are on store shelves now, many of them as distasteful seeming as this one. I mean, come on people, pumpkin and spice triscuits? Ick.
On Monday I was hurrying through the local Schnucks and even though I wasn't buying Triscuits that day I took a shortcut to the checkout line down that aisle. And what did I notice? The spot for original Triscuits was totally empty, sold out, while all those weird flavored boxes were just sitting there. It was so obvious as I walked by that the originals were gone, a huge, black empty hole where they should have been.
How does company make money while manufacturing all the different kinds people rarely buy and never having enough of the ones they do buy.
