Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

The Chicago roadways were an absolute mess this morning. Like you, we had a very small amount of snow- but the roads are slick and folks are still driving like it is the middle of summer on a hot day. They 'try to stop' and slide into others and havoc ensues. The Tri-State was an absolute mess & continued to get worse during the morning rush so hundreds of folks were said to be missing their flights.

Wow, the channel I was watching said that IDOT was NOT going to pretreat because there was enough residual salt on the roads from the last snowfall,I think that local communities did though. We saw a lot of salt trucks on the road in St Louis on our way over to a funeral visitation. We were driving home from St Louis starting at about 6:10 yesterday. Bayless to 55 and then over the Poplar. We had almost no problems. Granted we left after the main rush hour time. The worse was in the E St Louis area.
