Interesting photos. Sadly, I don't think the United States has the determination or spirit to win a war like the one fought then.

Stan Musial, Bob Feller, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio and many others left baseball behind at the peak of their careers to serve in WWII. LeBron James can't finish an NBA Finals game because it's too hot. No doubt about it, this is a much different world we live in.
