I really don't understand why Soulard Mardi Gras goers will leave behind tons of trash on the streets. This has been a story on the lead up to the latest big winter storm headed our way tonight. St Louis street department guys will be out with street sweepers trying to get it all cleared away before the sleet and snow hit.
Most area celebrations make sure to have plenty of trash bins but I guess people just get too lazy or too drunk to care and just drop stuff where they stand. But today's Mardi Gras trash could quickly get buried under sleet and snow, not a good thing.
Throw away your litter people. Help out.
