It's becoming an epidemic, lasers pointed at the cockpit of planes landing and taking off. " On an average day in the United States, almost a dozen aircraft are targeted by people on the ground with laser pointers. It is not only dangerous and criminal behavior, but it is increasing and the FBI wants it stopped".
One of the morning news programs had video of how this looks to a pilot and it's horrendous how much of the window this laser light takes up and pilots cannot see through it. Whoever is doing this should face years of prison time. But I wonder, with all the technology out there, are there not glasses of some sort which could over ride this? If not, maybe a clever tech person should be creating some.
This is just awful.
