Came across a recipe for Rigatoni Pasta Pie this morning and although it looks really good, like a huge deep dish sort of thing, the work involved is just a bit much. The thing is, after the rigatoni is cooked you have to stand each piece on end packed into each other in the springform pan. As if that isn't enough, then you mix ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, eggs and parsley together and put that mixture in a piping bag and fill each rigatoni.
There is also a meat sauce which is precooked and poured over the top.
Looks really good and would be fun to eat, but my gosh.
