This month I've been digging through boxes and bins of things which have been sitting stacked up in closets for a number of years. My purpose is to purge things that we have no use for, are totally out of date (clothes from 1981) and disperse sentimental items (to the kids).
Yesterday after all the boxes were cleared out in one closet I came across these at the bottom.
Tennis rackets from the 60's! At least the wooden Davis Tad racket dates back that far. I loved racket, having a Davis Tad was such a coup back then. I don't know about the aluminum one though.
Speaking of old things, the Collinsville Habitat for Humanity ReStore put up a picture on Facebook asking what these are. Anyone who could correctly identify them would get a ten dollar store credit.
The were described as 1/4 inch thick brass with tiny nail holes at each point. Click to enlarge if you can't see the entire photo.
