Very if you look at the latest Gallup Polling on the president's approval numbers. The first chart has states (including DC) with his highest approval numbers and the 2nd has the states with his lowest numbers. All other states are somewhere inbetween.
I guess the current administration has had a hiring binge in DC.
Scroll down the page for a drop down box which shows the percentage approval for the rest of the states. Missouri is 37.6
Check out the Gallup Poll's numbers for Congress and Speaker Boehner. Even among Republicans, they are staggeringly low.
Approval ratings of Congress: overall - 13%; among Republicans - 17%.
Approval of Boehner: overall - 28%; among Republicans - 49%
I guess nobody likes anybody anymore.

Obama is neutering congress anyway, what with all his mandates and executive orders.

Fortunately, Republicans will be looking to win Senate seats in 5 of those bottom approval states. They need 6 to take over the Senate. At this stage, I would predict the Republicans will pick up 8 or 9 Senate seats and 4 or 5 House seats.
