I came over to Collinsville today with more than a little anxiety over whether or not the sub zero temperatures this week might have frozen our water pipes. It wouldn't have been out of the realm of possibility since our basement bathroom gets pretty cold. But thankfully everything is fine, water running at normal pressure.
But. Oh boy, the snow really drifted across our deck and driveway.
There's no opening the back door and it is really just too much to try and remove because the sun has begun to harden and soften until it is like moving a ton of bricks. But it is supposed to rain and that should help .
On the front porch snow was piled up but not nearly as deep as the back. I did see, darn it, animal footprints in the porch snow and a bit of what is most likely...RACCOON pee.
After Critter Control trapped and took away 19 animals from our property we still have them! What is the deal with this anyway?
