Ancestry.com has begun offering a DNA service to those looking for even more family history. You take a swab of tissue sample from the inside of your cheek and send it in. In a couple of weeks the company sends you back a graph showing where your ancestors came from. My sister took advantage of this and got the results back yesterday. This is pretty darn cool.
I'm unable to copy the chart but in words the results were:
British Isles (Ireland and Scotland) 56 %
Scandavia (Denmark) 25 %
Eastern European 12 % (Germany)
Southern European 7 % (Germany)
