Beginning in 2015 high tech shelves equipped with built in cameras could appear in grocery stores to watch us and get intelligence.
I mean, come on. These companies and stores already know what products are purchased just through the scanning label which automatically registers that product as being sold. How much more do we have to let commerce and government know about us?
Pretty soon there will be some law which prohibits buying more than a certain amount of some food or drink and Voila! the grocery camera and computer file will stop us at checkout.
You think I'm overreacting? Just look at Mayor Bloomberg's New York City bans on certain sized drinks.
