Because it can get really cold on the roof of Luther Tower, it's always a good idea to set the large star up when the weather is half way decent. It was cold today and windy, but this was the day Gayle had 4 student workers willing and able to make the climb and crank up that star.
There it goes as Kevin cranks the pulley, Gayle guides, Adam claps, and Casey and Craig (who I cut off) watch. Last year was the final Christmas for Larry, the seminary's "can do anything" guy. He retired in the early spring, but made sure this star procedure would go smoothly.
It never gets old looking down from way up high.
Those iron stairs lead down to the halfway point-the bells.
In the end, it never gets old, going up top.
