Yesterday the pastor began his sermon with a short description of his experience with a new app called Sleep Time which is supposed to measure how you sleep and how efficient your sleep is. So of course I had to download it when I got home and try it last night.
It's a free app which requires you to keep the program open and place the phone face down on the mattress under or behind your pillow. Then it works away measuring how deeply you sleep- if you wake up, REM sleep, light sleep etc. It also wakes you up with an alarm when it sees you are entering into a light morning sleep.
And yes, it did wake me up, earlier than I'd like. Supposedly it wakes you at an optimum time so you feel refreshed. Hmmm 4:30 didn't feel all that good to me. In any event my effiency was rated at 85 percent.
I'll try this again to see if the percent will go up. Just knowing that phone was on the bed and watching me sleep kept me from falling asleep-when you have to fall asleep it's hard to do.
