The Annin Flag company has been making US flags since 1847 with the current owners being the 6th generation of Annins. Their flags have been everywhere from Iwo Jima to the moon as well as outside front doors and on poles at state houses. One was on Abraham Lincoln's casket another at George Bush's inauguration. They also make the small flags on sticks which distinguish themselves from the cheaper version made overseas and which fall apart easily.
I'm pretty sure we have some of the small Annin flags set out around the seminary campus, they certainly look the same and as further proof, they've lasted since at least 2007. You can't say that about most small flags. We also have some fill in small flags purchased at local stores and they barely make it through one 4th of July weekend before the cloth comes away from the stick.
Kudos to the Annin family and other small businesses which have found a way to continue excellence.
