Ferdie to Bob

  • Boojferd
Dear Bob, here are some photos of my life here on the campus of Concordia Seminary. I love kids, working with the grounds crew, swimming, playing with my dog friends, and especially my own family people.

Yay! I think you'll love it! My husband's favorite recipe is: 1.5C heavy cream, 1.5 C milk, 3/4 C sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla. Stir it up, pour it in the freezer bowl and let it churn (no cooking of anything needed). At the end, stir in 1 bar (baking size) of Ghiradelli 60% chocolate, chopped fine. Yes, he licks the paddle!

That sounds really good as well as quick. The cooking part got a bit tedious. I wonder how often egg yolks are needed.

That sounds good. I had some dark chocolate ice cream in Ohio that tasted like chocolate pudding in ice cream form. I can see why you like it.

I do think the next time I make this, I'll go a few steps down on the dark chocolate that gets chopped and melted. I used 70 percent and it was just a bit too overpowering.
