City Hall goes to the dogs

Last night we were at a Clayton Board of Aldermen meeting and it turned into one of the more heartwarming nights ever. When several residents walked in before the meeting with their dogs, everyone was smiling, milling around talking, taking pictures. It was just...I don't know...happiness.

Let's get a better look at that dog

Then she met up with a sweet sweet chocolate lab

The lab then met a third dog

There was a lot of movement

No one wanted to sit down, things became so social and congenial

But finally the meeting began, then at the end some of us had our pictures taken

And thus ended Clayton's Creme de la Clayton night. Thanks to the board of Aldermen and Mayor for this evening, especially Ward 1 aldermen, Andrea Maddox-Dallas and Joanne Boulton
