Last night KMOX's Michael Calhoun tweeted this:
What?!!! Calhoun linked to a story from NextSTL which has the details. The details however, are not exactly set in stone, but if it is true, what a great location and what excitement it will bring to a city which has so many people longing for an IKEA.
Pessimist by nature, I'll wait and see.
Update: So the head guy at IKEA has sent out a press release this afternoon saying the company has not decided on St. Louis much less a specific site.
MEH

I will not believe any more IKEA rumors until groundbreaking has occurred. Last I heard, KC was getting one, and IKEA had no intention of building another around here. I am still waiting for this Crossings at Northwest to be something more than deconstruction equipment.

Man, I just don't get the IKEA hysteria. Never been in a store, just online. Just not impressed. What am I missing?
