These food and health experts can really bug me. Everytime you turn around some food is now earmarked as bad for us. Now it's bread, more specifically wheat which bread is made from.
"We’re here to tell you about one incredibly common food that is absolutely wrecking most people’s skin, joints, and blood sugar." The doctors in this study suggest we stop with the bread and instead get the nutrients which are in bread (or wheat) from collard greens and peas.
Come on people. Certainly there are loaves of bread out there on super market shelves which are nasty and filled with too many other added ingredients that are more for shelf life than actual taste, but the same stores and bakeries offer just as many great breads. And, you don't need a bread filled with seeds either.
Bread has been a staple in human diets almost since time began, every culture has their own version of it, be it American style bread or pita, or Naan, or tortillas or bagels or etc. I mean is our future rice cakes and water, collard greens and peas?

Not rice cakes. They actually cause blood sugar spikes too because they lack whole grains. Better go with quinoa or whatever super grain is being touted this week.
