How many food packages now a days want you to open by "tear here"? Seriously, the tear line only works about 1/3 of the time the other 2/3's force you to get out a scissors.
Or, push down while turning to open. Riiight.
Or, the foil and plastic wrap box tells you to push in the little tabs on each side of the box. Why? There seems to be no difference to the way the roll works whether you do that or not.
And the perforated strip on top of many boxes of food which tells us to unzip for easy opening. Sure the middle piece unzips nicely, but the left and right side of the box top hold shut like glue.
And those darn plastic rings on milk cartons and other liquids that you have to grap one small piece of tab and then unwind it before the actual top will come off.
Cereal and cracker wax bags are a trial to pull apart to open without shooting have the contents across the room.

One of my pet peeves!!!!
