    If 154 tons were picked up on a twice monthly basis, that is 308 tons per month. If 85 tons were picked up weekly, that is 340 tons per month. Looks like more was being recycled with the smaller bins!

    Great! Should help to cut down on the overall garbage expense to the city and ultimately the taxpayers will see a savings.

    We did not even bother to recycle before..but with the lid we put out all are paper products and along with the cans etc we hardly have any garbage anymore. So here is a person that did not recycle but does now with the new bins.

    Ann, it's amazing what those bigger carts can do and for some reason the trash hauler and city actually came up with a list of things that can go in it which makes all the difference.
