The temperatures in St. Louis are in the 50's and 60's while San Diego and other parts of California are looking at 30's and 40's. Or so they say.
Tomorrow things will change and we'll be feeling 11 degrees. Or so they say.

41º here last night (on my home thermometer outside), 45º now with a high of 56º expected today, same as yesterday. But they've been forecasting lows at or below 32º . San Diego's not supposed to see 60º until Tuesday.

Rand, a friend of ours moved to San Diego last summer and wrote that she was so cold yesterday. I think it was warmer here than there.

It was warmer there, at least for yesterday. There are freeze warnings for us, but I don't think it happened last night. And this is as cold as it gets here.
And I understand how your friend feels. For some reason 50º feels colder here than there. It really does.
