Through its use of the like button, Facebook's tech people put together what some are calling the most accurate view of the geographical locations of each NFL team's fan base. The map of the US has a designated color for each team and the colors on the map show which areas support which team. It does not necessarily jibe with their specific location although it certainly does for St. Louis. The Rams have no fans out in LA which is sort of surprising.

One problem I had with the colors was that the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants had a similar blue so it makes it seem like Bear fans are out in New York or vice versa.

St. Louis has a very small fan base.

Each county is shown with the highest likes for a team, LA County goes for Oakland which is not surprising. Raiders have a strong presence thru-out So. California. And of course, The Raiders were in LA when the Rams left. But from people I talk to the Rams still have a strong following out here, just not as strong as the Raiders.
A fun map. Thanks Diane.

Like to see that map showing the Cardinals and the Cubs. There would be a very small blue dot and the red covering the good part of or all of 7 or 8 states.
