Today we went from moaning about how cold it was to looking out at the most beautiful of snowflakes coming down and down and down. Unexpected but a gift. It almost seems somewhat warmer now that a big old 1/4 inch is on the ground.
Ferdie and I took a walk after lunch to enjoy the snow and we came across almost all of our environmental services people doing snow removal. They're all such great people and go out in the cold and snow without complaint and are actually cheerful.

The first Mike again, this time with the new machine made for the new masonry sidewalks. It brushes off the snow rather than digs into things like a plow would. That way the stonework won't get pulled up.
What else did we see?
