Each week I'm surprised... and irritated... that MoDOT is still tying up Highway 40/64 downtown, currently eastbound. Even last Thursday when it was just pouring down rain they had two lanes closed and were doing something even before 8 a.m. Rush hour traffic was backed up west of downtown and those frustrating drivers who will never get into the one open lane until the very end kept everyone from moving.
Well this week MoDOT will close eastbound 40 on the 16th and 17th, not today or tomorrow because whatever they're doing needs warmer weather.
Just an FYI
Glad to see our highways are being improved and made safer.
