Coca Cola has begun addressing obesity in television ads touting their new smaller sizes cans and bottles as well as the waters and fruit drinks they sell. It's their way of keeping a market share while encouraging people to consume less sugar and calories.
What I've noticed is that Coke is not just making smaller drink sizes, but they've changed the packaging to appeal to our sense of cuteness. They are producing wee cans of coke that look so darn cute you can't help but want one and their old fashioned 6 ounce glass bottles which have always been popular are now in red aluminum cans. Eye appeal.
