Woke up to a light freezing rain which glazed the sidewalks, grass and road. After a few hours it changed to just rain, a cold and steady rain. We need rain, but it makes for a rather miserable day stuck inside. So, I'm making cookies, chocolate chip cookies but a different version which turns cookies into a "can't stop eating them" cookie.
Here's the recipe. The differences are in using brown butter and 1 egg plus an egg yoke. And dark brown sugar instead of light brown. If you make these you'll be amazed at how fast they're eaten.
