Was watching The Barefoot Contessa the other day on the Food Network and Ina Garten made these rolls which ended up looking fabulous and easy.
The recipe is here and it is one I plan to make during Christmas. In esssence you need a muffin tin in which you spoon combined butter and brown sugar. On top of that you drop in chopped pecans. If you do not like nuts you can probably skip them.
Then you roll out thawed puff pastry sheets. These are available in the freezer section of any grocery store and I already have mine in the freezer just waiting.
On top of the rolled out dough you spread brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins (if you like them). Then roll the whole thing up in a jelly roll form, cut the roll into pieces, drop them into the muffin tin and bake. Cool for 5 minutes and turn the tin upside down and voila! You have great looking and tasty sticky cinnamon rolls or buns.
