Katie and Charlie's new baby was Baptized this morning at The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew in Silver Spring Maryland. Katie got him dressed and off we went
He had his Baptismal lamb which was embroidered with the words, Jacob Thomas Baptized 11-25-12
Such a sweetie
We got to church and right away ran into cousin Stephanie and Sam. Sam was born the weekend Drew was baptized.
They ran into Charlie's mom and Dad, Regina and Tom and great gramma Florence
The altar had two baptismal banners
Dale baptized a grandson for the fourth time
Lizzie and Darren are the God Parents/sponsors. Darren had to stay back in St. Louis but Lizzie flew out for the day.
Pastor Hricko of St. Andrews stood for a picture with the Baileys
Then all the little cousins who were here today stood together. It was like corraling cats.
Jacob, Elliot, Vaughn, Sam and Drew Elliot and Vaughn are the sons of Charlie's twin brother Dan and his wife Hannah.
Which brings us to a photo of all of the extended family who was at the baptism to day.
Leaving the church Drew held his daddy's hand and then reached out for Sam's hand
And off they went, off we went for home.
Congrats. But you really need to get in some of these pictures. Someday Drew and Jacob are going to wonder and think Oma wasn't there.
