The good thing in that question is "tomorrow". It'll be over except for the shouting. Beyond the election of president, local candidates are running interesting battles including McCaskill and Akin. It will be interesting to see if the huge margin of votes for Romney will translate down ballot to Akin.
In Illinois with no election of governor or senator, the contests for House of Representatives takes center stage and in the Metro East Jason Plummer (R)v Bill Enyart (D) takes center stage in the 12th district along with Rodney Davis (R) v Dr. Gill (D) in the 13th district.
Longtime representative, John Shimkus (R)who had represented the 19th district is now running against Angela Michael (D) in the 15th after redistricting.
A map of the south and east congressional districts of Illinois-the 15th is green, 13th pink and 12th is blue.

Rodney Davis is running against Dr. Gill(D), a very liberal candidate. Hartmann is running as in independent.

I did not see that and oddly have not seen signs of many candidates.

Don't know what the districts looked like in the last decade, but it appears Collinsville is split into 3 separate districts? And it looks like they really had to stretch that small section to get Shimkus' house into D15 ? Guess it's really just business as usual, and not just in Illinois but all over the country.

If you haven't seen Rodney Davis signs, you must not be driving around Collinsville area much.

Rand, Shimkus' district has changed, most of Collinsville is not in his district, some is. But it was the Illinois democrats who did the redistricting. One district was eliminated, up near Champaign I think so now John's area includes that.
