November and December are notorious for high numbers of stomach flu. Usually it starts with school kids and spreads through families and probably caused by chilly outside weather, warm classrooms and kids close together. Germ factories.
But please people. Don't feel you have to share these symptoms and experiences as the sickness travels through each person in the family.
