What always makes me laugh (ironically and to myself) is since we now vote in Missouri we're always asked for our ID. Always. I hand over my drivers license and I'm good to go. Newspapers and editorialists always get so outraged at the thought of voter ID but we're always asked for it and no one, no one, minds.

I had my id out and ready when I walked into my polling place. They told me all I needed what the voter notification card I got in the mail. Odd, I think. I'd rather they match my face and name on my id to the list than just take my word for it that I am the person named on the card.

In Cook County, at least where I voted, we didn't show anything. Just said our name, gave our address, signed our card and 'voted as many times as we wanted' :-) "Just joking on the last one-at least by us, one person: one vote.
