Just when we finally had the channel number of TBS memorized, the baseball playoffs schedulers plunk today's game on another obscure network. Frustratingly for many Cardinal fans the MLB network will be carrying game 3 of the Cards/Nats game. MLB is not a channel everyone gets with their cable/dish package and some figures show that 30 percent fewer homes will get the game than with TBS.
For those of you who think you might get MLB the channel numbers are:
Charter 204 and 804 if you get HD
At&T U-Verse 634 and 1634 HD
Direct TV 213
Dish Net 152 and 9434 HD
The game begins at noon which is shocking in itself. Noon! I mean really, how long has it been since playoffs began that early. And of course, the Yankees will again get the coveted prime time slot this evening since the powers that be in Major League Baseball and television broadcasting are always certain that everyone in the country wants to see New York.
But at least we won't have to stay up til midnight to know the result, we'll know before the afternoon drive time.

My husband thanks you very much.
