Ok St Louis drivers coming to and from the Metro East

And another bridge construction begins. How many does this make now? Today the Chain of Rocks bridge shuts down for road work and this bridge joins the Eads, the McKinley and the west end of the Poplar in further snarling traffic for Illinois drivers trying to go to and from downtown St. Louis. 

This would be almost laughable if it weren't so hard on those who have to make this trip twice a day.

"Sitting in long traffic jams every day for months is worth it because the new asphalt is going to be so smooth".  says almost no one. Ever.

Here's a look at what the traffic looks like this morning eastbound on the Chain of Rocks bridge.
