I laughed so hard at this picture of Clinton and Gore attached to a tweet by Buzz feed Andrew and retweeted by ExJon.
It's been a long time since we've seen shorts this short and after some years of seeing men's basketball shorts so much longer that these, which were so common back then, are rather shocking.
But what made me laugh was a couple of pictures of Dale I found while converting old 35mm slides into digital format over the weekend.
This was taken long before we tore off the back porch and added a deck and ripped off the garage extension previous owners had put on. But it's the shorts which make me LOL.
The trend went on for a long time. This was in Maine and he's wearing Illini shorts. If he did this to me I'd be pretty upset, but he won't mind this fashion look back in time.
It goes with saying the athletic shorts are waaaaaaay more expensive today.
And look Bill has 2 milkshakes in his hand!!!
