Photographer Andrew Filer took ten years to capture every place in North Dakota with a name. Cities, ghosts towns, empty spaces, if it had a name he photographed it. 875 places. I'm in awe of these pictures and what an effort this took, not to mention a serious case of 'stick to it'-ness.
Number 16 at the link is an old abandoned church with a sign which reads, "No tresspassing. Violators will be shot-survivors will be shot again."




These are amazing. Makes me homesick. So much like my own state of Nebraska. Nothing like driving through the rolling hills and prairie lands. The vast openness fills one with awe at God's creation and how small we are.
