All of a sudden the rains have come, the temperature is dropping like a rock and I'll want a coat to wear tonight. The problem is coats for women made for these in between weather weeks are hard to find, at least coats that make sense for various occasions. They're either too long or too short. Too dressy or too casual. Most years I just forget about a coat and go without, but today with the rain and temps going down to the 40's maybe even the 30's I'd like to have an all around non winter coat.
Odd thing. Go to the Burlington Coat Factory website and coats are found at the very end of a list of things they sell. I mean, it's a coat factory for Pete's sake, not the first place I'd look for lingerie. This is all Burlington seems to have in all weather/rain coats. Moving on.

It's hard to go wrong with coats from Land's End.

Thank you! I am glad to know I am not the only one with this trouble. I have complained for years that I cannot find a cooler-weather coat that I can wear to church. I found one that sort-of works at our now-closed Sears.
