Storms are predicted for right around the time game 3 of the NLCS game is scheduled between the Cardinals and Giants. Naturally the big question around here is what is the plan should it rain? The decision will be up to Major League Baseball officials not the Cardinals or Giants. So far there has not been a final decision but the options are 1. pushing the game from 3 to 7 or 2. cancelling and using Saturday as the final game of the 3.
Neither option is great because MLB really wants people watching the Yankees/Tigers tonight and the NL game would take away viewers from that. And, a Saturday game would interfer with college football on Fox.
I guess we'll all find out if the rain does show.

1. glad I swapped my tickets for tonight for Fri due to a conflict
2. i believe it was '87 series against the giants that it rained so hard my shoes took days to dry out. since my son was young, he only has good memories of the experience :)

Good thing you swapped and at least you know there will still have to be a game 5
