Senator Tom Coburn's annual Wastebook is out. Wastebook details all the ridiculous spending the government does and how much each item costs us. So many things you have to read to believe and even then you wonder why we as a nation are almost ambivalent about cutting things. The 2012 Wastebook itemizes stupid, unnecssary things that add up to 81 billion tax dollars.
Hey, this is easy to read, each item is simply stated.
One of my favorites:
Dept. of Transportation dollars are used in Michigan to buy 400 talking urinal cakes to fight drunk driving.
Quick! Someone needs to do a government study to determine why funding is only provided for urninals. One would have to assume women drivers are not drinking and driving. Discrimination!!!
