Each year the Richmond Heights Schnucks on Clayton road two blocks from the seminary hangs a big sign welcoming back the nearby college students. Washington University, Fontbonne and Concordia are all within walking distance and give this store lots of business. So much business in fact that the store is constantly packed and the parking lot full. When I saw the sign this morning I thought, oh no they're back to clog the aisles.
I don't intend to be snarky, but this is a very difficult Schnucks to shop in due to the always crowded aisles and checkout lanes. I much prefer the Collinsville Schnuck's, it's clean, bright, welcoming and you don't feel pushed around. After Richmond Heights, it's a relief.
I agree! The store is crowded and the parking lot is in my top three of lots I hate to try to navigate. I much prefer the Schnucks in Bridgeton near where I live. The Des Peres store is very nice too. It's in the same center as our pediatrician, so Ibgo there every once in awhile.
