Last week I shared a rather cool Olympic photo of a smoking gun after a skeet shoot. Here's another great photo but one which I find emotionally conflicting.

Sychronized swimming.

Well, creepy is the first thing that came to mind but I wanted to find a way to say it without hurting those two women's feelings. Heh

Yes the photo is a 'little' 'unusual-too much emphasis on the 'makeup'. But as someone who did synchronized swimming, it is not an easy sport & takes quite a bit of stamina, despite what some folks think. Not many can do the graceful moves. As a bit of trivia, the first water ballet club was at the University of Chicago. Then in 1939 the first U.S. synchronized swimming competition took place at Wright Junior College between Wright and the Chicago Teachers.
